Shirley Jean Cole Jack was born on January 1, 1946 in Meridian, Mississippi to the late Ozell Whitlock and Otis Cole. Shirley's early education was obtained at West End School. In 1982, she relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. She united with New Jerusalem Baptist Church where she was a devoted member. On Friday, January 7, 2022, the Lord called Shirley Jean Cole Jack from labor to rest. She leaves to cherish her memory six children: Veronica Cole (Richard) and Darryl Cole of Toledo, OH, Rosalind Robinson (Edward) of Cleveland, OH, Kendra Ruffin (Markus), Herbert Jack (Tiara) and Nygel Jack; two sisters: Linda Guise (Ben) and Renee Frais (Tony); two brothers: Ronald King (Deb), and Donald King (Jackie); matriarch Odell Williams and patriarch Willie Whitlock; a loving.friend: James Peterson of Cleveland, OH, her caregivers/grandchildren: Mario Cole and Marquita Cole; a special sister/cousin: Dorothy Dubose; lifelong best friend: Carolyn Pinson of Cleveland, OH,· forty-eight grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
