Dear Brenda and Carolyn, I happened to be speaking with a family friend from Meridian tonight (7/25/21) and heard that your father had passed away. Please accept my heartfelt condolences, and those of my sisters (Merle & Carolyn) for your loss. Your father was a wonderful person and an example of what a good man and father should be. Although he is gone from your presence, he is now most certainly in the presence of God and joined once again with the love of his life - your mom. You both were dutiful daughters, coming to Meridian to check on him so very often that it was almost like your were living back in Meridian again. Your love for him was genuine and devotedly given, something I am sure he was aware and loved you both even more dearly for the love and care you showed him. God Bless - Earline Jimerson Lucas
