Mr. Solomon Randolph's Obituary
SoIomon Randolph born September 29, 1954 to Rose Mary Portis and Edward Portis which proceeded him in death. Solomon was called home on Sept 13, 2016. He was survived by a loving and dedicated wife who was united in matrimony on August 22, 1981 to Chatia O'Neal Pringle. To this union one loving daughter was born, Lakisha Pringle James. He leaves to cherish four sons Charles Darnelle Carlisle, Solomon Morgan, and Laquenza Morgan. Two grandchildren Kaydriuna Pringle and Jaquandria Pringle, three great grandchildren Ke' Monica M. Windham, Amirius M. Windham Za'Len Solomon Windham. He also had a nephew that he considered a son Marvin J. Randolph (Michelle Randolph). Solomon work for many years at Bowers Auto Mart as an auto-mechanic until he decided to go into business for himself. He worked for himself until his health began to deteriorate, keeping him from working and that is when he began instilling others with his knowledge. He also enjoyed in his spare time auto racing and preparing race cars for the next Big Race. Solomon was always ready to race whomever was next and so enjoyed his family and friends. Solomon was the 7th child of ten siblings, 5 sisters, Earline Speights of Yantley, Marline O' Hara of Cromwell, AL and 3 which proceeded him in death Minnie Randolph, Mary Ann Randolph and Rose Mary Portis. 5 brothers; Roosevelt Gaines of Kinterbish, AL, James C. Randolph of Cuba, AL, Leevelt Portis (Shirley Portis) of Meridian, MS, Willie James Ford of Miami, FL and 1 which proceeded him in death Benny Portis. He also leaves to cherish a mother-in-law Mattie Pringle and 4 sister-in-law's Alice Pringle, Frances Pringle, Patricia McClleland, all of Meridian, MS and Cassandra Pringle of Waynesboro, MS. 5 brother-in-law's Calvin Pringle (Vinny Pringle) Anderson Pringle, Johnny Pringle all of Meridian, MS and 2 that proceeded him in death Jimmy McClleland and Oliver Pringle. He had a host of nieces and nephews, whom he helped in many ways.
