Ms. Sydney Danielle Hudson's Obituary
Our beloved Sydney Danielle Hudson was born Monday, January 31, 1994 to Parrish Hudson and Ebony Pearson in Meridian, Mississippi. She transitioned to eternal life on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Sydney was a quiet, sweet spirit with remarkable compassion and kindness. She especially had a strong affinity for young children, the elderly and animals. Her radiant smile exuded love and brought comfort to those around her. She was a skilled debater with a great sense of humor. Sydney had a knack for coming up with smart comments on the fly. Her quickwit could sting, stun and, at the same time, leave one roaring with laughter. Her great-uncle, Walter, often spent days trying to come up with a response to her stinging blow, but he was no match for her wit. After completing high school, Sydney worked in various fields, often working more than one job at a time. She was an independent and hard-working young WOfr!an who did not accept mediocrity. She set goals and worked hard to achieve them. Before her tragic accident, she was employed at the Atlanta Airport as a supervisor over International Parking. She had also just completed a course and internship as a Phlebotomy Technician and was looking forward to a career change. But God had a more divine plan. He called her home. Sydney was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather A/gene Hudson and her step-grandfather who adored her, Lavell Kennedy, her uncle, Jeffrey Hudson and aunt Rhonda Clay. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her parents, Parrish Hudson, Meridian, MS and Ebony Pearson, Atlanta, Georgia; four brothers Jalen Pearson and Kaalis. Phillips, Atlanta, Georgia; Jamar Hudson, California, Jadarius Hudson, Meridian, MS; paternal grandmother, Betty Kennedy, Meridian, MS; maternal grandparents, Clifton Pearson, Gulfport, MS and Gloria Baylor (Jessie), Meridian, MS, great-grandmother, Annie Patton, Meridian, MS and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
