Mr. Talimon Edwards' Obituary
Mr. Taliman Edwards was born January 31, 1987 to Telisa Scott and Melvin Young. He was known as "Peanut" to all his family and friends. He departed this life on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Edwards. Peanut attended the Meridian Public School System. He was employed with Northwood Country Club. On January 18, 2019, he united in Holy Matrimony to Laportia Johnson. Together, they are the parents to two children. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving wife, Laportia Edwards; three children, Zhyvion, Jriya and Haven; his mother and stepfather, Telisa and Tyrone Scott; his father, Melvin Young; one sister and one niece, Brittany and her daughter, Keristen; his grandparents, Cecile Edwards, Melvin and Diane Young; his mother-in-law, Lisa Johnson; his aunts and uncles, Joseph and Debra Martin, James and Rachell Edwards, Gary and Diane Edwards, all of Meridian, MS, Terry and Kimberly Edwards of Owensboro, KY, Luther and Charmin Edwards of Hattiesburg, MS, Anthony and Sylvia Arrington of Detroit, MI, Lamar Edwards and Linda Waston, Richard and Lakisha Jenkins, James and_ Janice Mitchell, Larry and Marilyn Coleman, Patrice Edwards and Kendrick Edwards, all of Meridian, MS and a host of cousins and friends.
