Ms. Terry Christine Harvey's Obituary
Miss Terry Christine Harvey was born on December 25, 1957 in Meridian Mississippi to Mr. Anderson Harvey Jr. and Mrs. Dorothy Louise Harvey. Terry departed this life on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Rush Foundation Hospital. She attended Meridian Public Schools and Meridian Community College. Terry united with Mount Zion M.B. Church at a early age under the leadership of Reverend J.T. Hall. Terry loved to sew and travel; often she left home traveling with nothing but her sewing machine. While attending MCC Terry studied fashion, design and marketing. She later used that knowledge to start her own small seamstress business and worked as a seamstress for Jones Cleaners for thirteen years. Terry was a avid collector of dolls. She leaves to cherish her memories, her partner of 20 years Henderson (Chip) Pruitt, a very special loved God-daughter, Kayla Easley, her mother, Dorothy Harvey, two sisters, Andrea V. Spencer (Tommy), Hawthorne, Ca., Belinda Harvey (James), one nephew, Marcus Darrell Brooks, Long Beach, Ca., two nieces, Tamia and Destiny Abrams, two adopted nephews, Rev. Christopher Harris and Bruce Harris, four aunts, one uncle and two devoted lifetime friends, Jerry Wilkins and Mary Ann Leflore, as well as a host of relatives and friends. Terry was preceded in death by her father, Anderson Harrvey, Jr., grandparents Robert and Lillian Williams; Anderson and Malinda J. Harvey, a brother Poindexter Harvey and an adopted sister, Tammy Peaches Harris.
