Mr. Thomas Jefferson Walker, Sr.'s Obituary
Deacon Thomas Jefferson Walker, Sr. was born April 13, 1936 to the late Gethsemane Walker and Pearlie Ann Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his four sisters: Mary Lucille Portis, Florence Wallace, Eunice Walker and Katherine Ramsey. Deacon Thomas Walker confessed Christ a.t: an early age and united . with Greenhill Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon Board President until his health failed. Deacon Walker was a member of Masonic Lodge Number 414A where he was faithful and kept his vow to God by serving his church and community. He married Annie Ree Alford [whom-preceded him in death] and to this union five children were born. He leaves to morn and cherish his memories five (5) children Shelia A. (Brian) Coleman, Thomas J. Walker, Jr., Johnny L. (Antoinette) Walker, Pearlie A. Walker, and Chrissie A. Walker, three (3) brothers -G.T. Walker, Abraham Walker, and William Walker. He also leaves nine (9) grandchildren, (9) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
