Mr. Timmy Lee Gainey, Sr.'s Obituary
God, the creator of all good and perfect gifts selected the late Mr. S.B. Hendrix and Ms. Estella Gainey to be parents of a very special man child. On January 2 1, 1965, Timmy made his entrance into this world. His parents were blessed as he grew and developed into a hard working provider for his family, he enjoyed spending time with his sons. Timmy was baptized into Christ at Oliver Creek Church of Christ, on June 21, 2015. Timmy made a lasting impression on everyone he met, but none more than his lovely wife Christine, whom he married on March 6, 1998. On October 10, 2017 after suffering from lung cancer he slept into eternity at his home in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Jean Renate' Gainey. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife Christine Clayton-Gainey, three sons Delandre Clayton, Timmy Gainey, Jr. and Derrick Gainey; a brother Danny Gainey (Sharon) of Philadelphia, PA.; nieces Tamara Cashmere Gainey, of Philadelphia, PA; Lateshia Michelle-Gainey and Latasha Nicole Gainey of Tampa, FL and many other family members and friends.
