Mr. Tommy L. Armstrong's Obituary
Tommy L Armstrong was born December 29, 1943 to Robert Armstrong and Justa B Phillip in Meridian, MS. His mother, father, six brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Tommy gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was a member of Second Canaan MB Church, Detroit, MI under the leadership of the late Rev. David Kelly. In 2000 his family moved to Kosciusko, MS where he joined Mt Zion MB Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Olive. He remained a faithful member until his health failed. Tommy was employed at Attala Industry for the handicapped in Kosciusko, MS until his death. On Monday, February 16, 2015, Tommy died of a massive heart attack at home approximately around 6:30 a.m. Tommy leaves to cherish his memories, four sisters and one brother. Rena Harris(Roosevelt) of Kosciusko, MS, Sarah Hurd of Meridian, MS, Mary Needleham of Meridian, MS, Emmie Britton of Detroit, MI, Raymond Armstrong of Meridian, MS, one half-sister Lorraine Walls of Milwaukee, WI, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
