Mr. Tommy Dunnigan's Obituary
Tommy Dunnigan, also known as "Dunk", was born in Meridian, Mississippi on October 28, 1969, the son of the late Joe Pollard and Fredna Mae Warren. He graduated from Meridian High School class of 1988. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and dear friend. On Saturday December 16, 2023 God sent his angels to his bedside who softly whispered, "It is time to rest". Tommy grew up in Meridian, Mississippi and later moved to Pensacola, Florida in 2000. He was a die hard Dallas Cowboys and Alabama Crimson Tide fan and a Grill Master. Tommy and Rachel Dunnigan united in holy matrimony on March 8, 2001 in Pensacola, Florida. He accepted Christ at a young age. He was a God-fearing man with a heart of gold. One doesn't have to know much about Tommy Dunnigan to know what-kind of man he was: a kind, generous, goofy man, loyal to his family and friends. He served as a faithful member of God Peace Anointed Church, Inc.· He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Tommy's generosity with his time was an important element of his business and working relationships. He was an inspiring and stimulating person. His memorable life was spent surrounded by family and friends that he touched in numerous ways. As a beloved relative, church member, and friend, it's impossible to quantify how many people Tommy made happy.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Dunnigan; siblings, Corliss Polland, Lashundra(Will) McVoy, Joe Polland, Jr., Angela Amenson, Crystal Hill, Santisha Hill, Tykeria Sturdivant;Bonus Sister Shanika Polland, Bonus Brother Tromaine Polland; children, Tomeisha Carter, Nicholas(Alexius) Carter, Senpier Carter, Tommy Dunnigan,Jr., Damien Dunnigan, Temarques Dunnigan, Joshua Dunnigan, and Destiny Dunnigan; grandchildren, Ariah Dunnigan, Taelin Dunnigan, Tory Dunnigan, Yara Carter; Goddaughter Janell Dixon, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins; ., . . church family, and friends. His loving heart left a beacon of light for all in the community. Tommy Dunnigan will be remembered as loving, generous, and having endured to the end.
