Mr. Toni Lewis' Obituary
Toni Lewis was born on August 26, 1965 in Meridian, Mississippi to the late Earnest & Faye Lewis. To this union he was the youngest of the six children. He attended Meridian High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1984. Toni joined the United States Army in 1986 to serve his country. In 1987, he attended Tuskegee University where he obtained his degree in Business in the term of 4 1/2 years. He loved playing baseball where he received many awards including the most valuable player (MVP) of the team at John Moss Field in Meridian, Mississippi. Toni was a humble, kind, outgoing Christian. He departed this earthly life on September 24, 2017 at his resident. He leaves to cherish his memories: seven children, Mahogany Lewis, Anquenette Lewis, Toni Hazard, Ashley Lewis, Kiara Lewis, Yasmine Lewis and Desmond Lewis; one grandchild, Landon Cole; seven sisters, Elaine (Frank) Lloyd, Belinda (Robert) Randle, Dorothea Wade, Angela Amerson (Alonzo Franklin), Shelia (Joe) Parham, Gracie Lebron, Joely Moss; two brothers, Demonda (Shameka) Moss and Elmore Armstrong,· a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved him dearly. Toni was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
