Mr. Tony Rydell Jones' Obituary
Tony was born on August 16, 1961 in Meridian, MS to Albert Moore and Leontense Jones Brown. Tony went to Witherspoon Elementary School and later moved to Chicago, Illinois where he attended Peabody Elementary School and graduated from Orr High School in 1980. Tony served in the Marine Corp for 8 years and later moved to San Mateo, CA where he was employed at First Transit for 7 years. Tony departed this life unexpectedly on July 26, 2018 at San Mateo Medical Center in San Mateo, California. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Leontense. Cherishing his legacy is: one brother, Felipe Moffett of Atlanta, GA; one uncle, Raythel Randall of Meridian, MS; three special nieces, Khaliah Moffett of Atlanta, GA, Fallone Kireston Moffett and Alexis Courtney Moffett both of Chicago, IL; one goddaughter, Laquenda Verner of Chicago, IL; stepfather, Patten Brown of Meridian, MS; two aunts, Tensley Henderson of Detroit, Ml and Katherine Burton of MS; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
