Mr. Ulysses L. "Boone" Cole's Obituary
Ulysses L. “Boone” Cole, 58, returned to his heavenly home on December 18, 2016 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Ulysses was born to the late Juanita Cole and Ulysses “U.L” Collins in Meridian, MS on July 19, 1958. He was educated in the Meridian Public School System. Ulysses worked for Peavey Electronics for over 30 years and retired upon the decline of his health. He loved electronics and worked tirelessly for over 20 years on a “special project” that he hoped to get patented.
Ulysses was blessed with a large and loving family. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior.
Ulysses leaves to celebrate his life: his children, Ulissia Cole of Atlanta, GA, Marilyn (Edward) Kelly, Brandon Cole, both of Meridian, MS and Terrance Robert of Indiana; brothers, John (Dorothy) Cole, Albert (Marie) Cole, both of California, Steve (Pam) Cole of Virginia, Rayford and William Rita) Wright, both of Meridian, MS; sisters, Jeanette Curry, Gwendolyn Dooley, Penny Parker, Mattie (Howard) Sims, Deborah (Christopher) Smith, Kathy (Wesley) Larkin, all of Meridian, MS, Rose Brewster of Florida and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ulysses in preceded in death by his loving mother Juanita Cole, father Ulysses “U.L.” Collins and brothers, Timothy (Tim) Cole and Robert (Bob) Cole.
