Mr. Untray Mandrell Spencer's Obituary
Untray Mandrell Spencer was born November 29, 1985 to Geraldine Spencer & Sylvester Collins of Meridian, MS.
Tray was raised in Collinsville, MS. He attended and was baptized at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church at an early age where he loved reading and learning the Bible. He attended West Lauderdale School where he loved playing basketball with his friends and of course being the one to make you laugh.
Tray’s love and laughter spilled over into his family and children lives. He made an impression like only he could as his “full of life” personality and adventurous soul carried him near and far throughout his life. You could always find Tray listening to music, writing lyrics, rapping to the beat and doing his dance. Never meeting a stranger, he followed the beats of his heart until his passing on February 3, 2017 in Dallas, TX.
Preceding him in glory, his grandfather Cleveland Buddy Taylor, great-grandfather George Lee Donald and grandmother Oretha Lewis Spencer.
He leaves to cherish his memories:
His mother and step-father, Geraldine and Willie Sillimon of Meridian, MS; his father, Sylvester Collins of Seattle, Washington; a sister, La’Kendra (Taras) Ford and a brother Casey Spencer of Meridian, MS; 6 kids: XiTreveanna Spencer, Samierra Steward, Lazareia Hawkins, Raelyn Davidson, Jarcardius Spencer of Meridian, MS and Makyah Trotter of Louisiana; a great-grandmother, Dorothy Collins and grandmother, Diane Collins of Meridian, MS; a special aunt, Sharon “Ronnie” Hopson and a special cousin, Lashassadee “Shine” Lewis of Meridian, MS; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, niece and friends.
