To Donna, the Young and Johnson families, I send my condolences and prayers. May the beautiful memories you shared, help to comfort you at this difficult time. Heaven is gaining another Angel.

To the family of Sis. Valerie Young,
On behalf of the Ladies of Sophistication of Lambda Pi Sigma, an affiliate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., we extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy during this time of profound loss. We are lifting Soror Tushayla Brown and former Rhoers Vaiesha and Makayla Brown in prayer, asking God to surround you with His comfort, strength, and sustaining peace.
The loss of a loved one leaves an ache that words can scarcely ease, but please know that you do not grieve alone. Sis. Valerie’s life and legacy will continue to live on through the love she shared and the lives she touched. May cherished memories bring warmth to your hearts, and may the support of family, friends, and sisterhood provide reassurance in the days ahead.
As Sorors, we stand united, not only in celebration but also in sorrow. We remain present, available, and committed to walking alongside you in whatever way you may need. May you feel God’s grace, comfort, and blessings of earthly manifestation as you navigate this difficult season.
With love, prayers, and unwavering support.

So Sorry to hear of Valarie’s passing.
I have not seen her in many years, but my fondest memory of her is her and Donna making mud cakes for me when we were both very young.
They were my older neighbors across the street and would ask for me to come over and play with them. I looked up to Valarie since she was the oldest of the three of us, so when she said the mud cakes would turn out to be chocolate cakes of course I believed her. I was disappointed when my brother came and took me home before the cakes were ready.
To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. The heartache may be deep, but hold on to the love, memories and laughter to get you through it.
In My Prayers,
Barbra Woods Hudnall
