Ms. Vickie Bennett Crowell's Obituary
Vickie Lynn Bennett Crowell was born on April 17, 1954 in Meridian, MS to Harold A. Bennett and Barbara Louise Bennett Kemp. She is one of four daughters that were born within this union. As a young adult, Vickie moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked with the Kemper Insurance Company for 27 years in the underwriting analysis department. Later in life, she met and married William Crowell and moved back home to Meridian, Mississippi. This union lasted 20 years until his death on September 16, 2018 in Meridian, Mississippi. In 2003 she united with Fairview Baptist Church and was an active member consistently attending Sunday School, Bible Study and morning Worship until her health began to decline. She leaves to cherish her memory Mrs. Barbara Kemp (mother), three sisters -Brenda Cole, Linda Hill, and Ida Saba; and a devoted step daughter whom she loved (Jennifer Crowell Simon), two steps sons, and a host of niece, nephews, in-laws and devoted friends.
