Mrs. Virgie B. McWilliams Ball's Obituary
Virgie B. McWilliams Ball was born July 28, 1933 to Marvin McWilliams and Bessie McWilliams. She united with New Hope Blackwater Baptist Church at an early age. Later on she united with the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Daleville, MS. She was a faithful member until her health failed her. Mrs. Virgie was well-loved for her quiet mannerism, Christian spirit, and especially for her delicious peach cobbler. She departed her life at Anderson Hospital on Friday, April 10, 2015 al 8:10 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bessie McWilliams, her husband, Albert Ball, 3 sisters, Lucille, Ester Mae, and Lois. She leavei to cherish her precious memory, a devoted daughter, Carrie M. Love; 3 sons, Johnny McWilliams, Charles McWilliams, and Harold McWilliams all of Meridian, MS; 1 sister, Juanita McWilliams of Meridian, MS; 7 grandchildren, Kimberly McWilliams, Samona Johnson (Maurice), Zvia McClcndon, Joquita Horne, Quincharles, Caleb, and Eric McCarty; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 2 stepsons of Detroit Michigan, Peter Ball (Ann) and his family, Albert Ball Jr. and his family; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A special person who touched her life was Ms. Vera Walker of Newton, MS. Mother left us to travel to her heavenly home for eternal rest. We will miss her wisdom, love, and care. We are thankful to God and truly blessed to have a devoted mother. We are thankful and truly blessed that she passed our way.
