Ms. Willie Mae Overstreet was born on August 13, 1942 to the late Punch Gowdy and Rosie Overstreet in Lauderdale county, Mississippi. Ms Willie Mae excepted Christ at a middle age and joined the Hubbard Bethelhem Baptist in Lauderdale, Ms. She attended Middleton School, Later years she was joined in Matrimony to the late Mr Charlies Jr Clayton. Ms Willie Mae, was the mother of five daughter, which two preceding her in death, Emma Jean and Rosie Mary Clayton. she was a mother who loved her children. Ms Clayton, departed this life on Thursday April 4, 2019, at her home. She leave to cherish memories Mrs Mary (Chester) Ransom, Ms Dorothy K Cole (Dennis), Ms Diane Clayton,(!) God son Fredrick (pig) Clayton, all of Lauderdale, MS (12) grand children, 20 great grand Children, (2) sisters Ms Rosie Hopson, and Ms Janie Ramsey (1) brother Mr James (nun) Gowdy. With a host of neices, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Ms Willie Mae was well known in the Lauderdale community with a smile and joke for all. Preceded her in death was her father, mother, sisters, brother and other relatives. Care takers her daughters, grand daughter( s) and grand son, Deaconees home health, Rush hospital and staff of Doctors.
