Mrs. Willie Mae Collier's Obituary
Willie Mae Collier was born the second of nine children to the late Judge and Luberta Walker on June 20, 1924 in Cuba, AL. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mervin Collier and to this union two daughters were born to whom one preceded her in death. Mrs. Wille Mae accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Cuba, AL and later joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Marion, MS. Mrs. Wille Mae was a faithful attending member until her health failed. Mrs. Willie Mae retired from domestic work. She enjoyed traveling and visiting family members, until her health started failing. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 23:1-6. Mrs. Willie Mae was proceeded in death by her parents Judge and Luberta Walker, daughter Dorothy Collier Baskin, granddaughter Toni Harris McDonald, six siblings, Margaret Collier, Lawrence Walker, Leeanna Warren, Mary Jane Baylor, MaeBell McDonald, Elise Walker. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Bobbie Collier, 2 sisters, Florence Gray (Chicago, IL), Lessie Walker (Meridian, MS), 5 grandchildren, Phyllis Collier (Meridian, MS), Frankie Collier (Toomsuba, MS), Stephanie Collier (Starkville, MS), LaTrice McClinton (Brandon, MS), and Rhoshonda Collier (Huntsville, AL) 14 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
