Mr. Willie James Easley's Obituary
Willie James Easley, entered eternal rest on Saturday December 10, 2016. He was born in Meridian, Mississippi on May 30, 1957 to the late James Willie Powell Sr. and Earnestine Easley. A graduate of Southeast Lauderdale where he received letters for his athletic abilities. Willie accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi. Where he served as the Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, Trustee, President of Shiloh Male Chorus, and Vice President of the Usher Board Willie retired as Master Sergeant from the US. Army in 1997 after 22 years of service. During which time he was selected to attend the Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in the Quarter-master Corps where he entered the supply field Willie was also part a Military Intelligence/Counterintelligence Group. Willie leaves to cherish his memories wife Ethel Wilson Easley, one daughter, Casandra Alyssa Easley of Killeen, TX; two sons Jeremy Easley of Houston, TX; TyShone Johnson of Meridian, MS; mother Earnestine Easley of Meridian, MS; two brothers John Clyde (Lynette) Easley of Phoenix, AZ; James Powell Jr. (Maxine) Cincinnati, OH; five sisters, Ruby Nell Kilpatrick (Clifton) Zanesville, OH; Patricia Ann Easley of Meridian, MS; Mary V Garner (John) of Jackson, MS; Mary L. Powell-Wright of Southfield, MI; Rosa Brown of Bronx, NY. A host of Nieces Nephews, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his father James Willie Powell Sr. his Parental Grandparents AlfCrockell and Jack Ann Powell; Maternal Grandparents General and Ella Irby Easley.
