Mr. Willie Ray Grace's Obituary
Willie Ray Grace was born on August 17, 1949 to the late George and Zulor Bell Hudson in Meridian, Mississippi. Willie Ray was educated in the Kemper County Public School System. Willie Ray, or Big Daddy as he was affectionately known, was loved by all who knew him. He was a local DJ who went by the name, Midnight Man. His favorite past-times were playing cards and baseball, eating (of course) and being surrounded by family and friends. He leaves to cherish his many memories his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Dorothy Grace; two daughters: Albertine Rush (Jimmy) and Carla D. King; three sons: James Ray Rush, Daniel D. Rush (Codie) and Terrance Grace (Renarda); seven sisters: Billie Jean Grace (Raymond), Ollie Burton, Jerri Hudson, Martha Powell, Margie Hudson, Carolyn Hudson, and Ruby Hudson; two brothers: Wendell Hudson (Ennie) and James Hudson, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. On September 9, 2021, Willie Ray transitioned onto a journey we will all travel one day as he joins those who preceded him in death including his parents, two brothers, Johnny Will Hudson and Rudolph Hudson, mother-in-law, Ernestine C. Rush and a special aunt, Ella Jane Grace.
