Mrs. Willie Lorene Hampton's Obituary
Willie Lorene (Patricia) Hampton was born September 23, 1941 to Willie D. and Laura L. Davis in Lauderdale County. She was preceded in death by both parents, daughter, Brenda Jean Davis-Bender, husband, Earl Hampton and sister, Thelma Holloway. She attended Meridian Public Schools. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Pilgrim Rest Methodist Church. She later moved her membership to West Mt Moriah Baptist Church and was a member of the senior choir where she served as treasurer. She departed this life on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Rush Hospital after a brief and unexpected illness. Her loving and devoted son Louis and wife, Muriel were at her side. She leave to cherish many pleasant memories; Son, Louis Sutton, Jr. (Muriel), Grandson, Louis "Trey" Sutton, Ill (Guam, USA), Sisters: Flora Mae Ellis (Luther), Doris Watson (Calvin) and Carolyn Davis, her companion William (McArthur) Bradley and Godmother Veriee Dace, all of Meridian, Mississippi. Her best friend, sister and confidant, Georgianna Coachman (George) of Chicago, Illinois. A host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
