Ms. Willie Holton's Obituary
Willie A. Holton's wonderful journey of life began on August 23, 1953 when she was born to the late
Willie B. Holton and Elizabeth Holton. On Sunday, September 17, 2023, her journey of life ended and Willie transitioned to her heavenly home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Elizabeth Holton; her sisters, Ann Elizabeth Clay and Mildred Oleta Williams.
Willie was a graduated of Meridian High School Class of 1971. She later moved to Milwauke,
Wisconsin but later returned to Meridian and worked at Trustmark Bank as a teller until her retirement in 2017. After professing her life to Christ, she joined 5 Street Baptist Church and served as Vice-President of the Hospitality ministry and a member of the choir. She was a faithful member until her health began to fail.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving children: Tamara (John) Spinks of Meridian, MS
and Reginald (Laquania) Thompson II of Fresno, CA; her surviving siblings, two sisters, Mae Bell English of Peoria, IL and Terry Ann Watson of Pearl, MS; three brothers, Willie James (Yvonne) Holton of Niagara Falls, NY, Willie George (Linda) Holton of Meridian, MS and Chester (Barbara) Holton of New Orleans, LA; four grandchildren, Reginald Thompson, III of Milwaukee, WI, Arcenai (Ras) Roberts of Meridian, MS, Daran and DaNoah Johnson of Jackson, MS; Three great-grandchildren, Aydien, Zailyn and Blaze Roberts of Meridian, MS; very special friends, Kimberly Christian, Carol Jean Woods and Virginia Powers. She will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, friends, and extended family.
