Mrs. Willie Pearl Jones' Obituary
Sister Willie Pearl Jones made her peaceful transition from this life to her Heavenly Home on Monday, December 1, 2020. Sister Jones did not have any biological children; however, she assisted her mother in raising her nieces and nephews: Alma Cyrus, Walter Fred Jones, Shirley Gray and Steve Jones. She was born into The Pentecostal Church of God, under the leadership of Bishop J.J. Sears. She faithfully served under the leadership of Bishop Marcela Evins and Bishop Andrew Stephens. She was a dedicated praying woman and loved helping and serving others. Sister Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Alma Collins Jones and John Henry Jones and four brothers: Excell Jones, Connell Jones, Earnest Earl Jones and Fred Jones: two sisters, L. Kay Jones and Lucille Brassfield. She leaves to cherish her memories: Alma (George) Cyrus, Fred (Gwen) Jones, Shirley Gray, Steve (Jaunita) Jones, and Harold Brassfield, two favorite cousins: Annette Baldwin, Betty Jean Collins and a host of relatives and friends.
