Mr. Willie Lee "Moon" Lloyd's Obituary
Willie Lee Lloyd was born on February 5, 1950 to Tommy Lee Lloyd and Bessie Mae Gathright Lloyd, in Meridian, MS. Moon Lloyd, as he was called was a dedicated worker while employed with Yates Construction Company for 18 years. During his time at Yates, he worked on some of the additions to Anderson Hospital. Upon retirement from construction, Moon moved to Enterprise, MS, where he resided until the Lord called him home. On Saturday, September 10, at Anderson Regional Hospital, Moon departed this earthly life. Willie Lee was preceded in death by his parents Tommy Lee Lloyd and Bessie Mae Gathright Lloyd; his brothers, Tommy Lee Lloyd, Jr., James Earl Lloyd, and William n Sonny" Lloyd, Sr.; sister, Dorothy Lloyd; uncles, Johnny C. , Lloyd and Eugene Lloyd; aunts, Elsie, Katherine, Katie & and Lessie Ludgood. He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, his fiancee, Jackie Green; daughters Telisha Horn, Makisha Horn (Frank, Jr) Naylor, Sanyeka Horn, Angel (Kenzie) Hughes, Monique Griffin and Kenya Woodard; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers; Kenneth Lloyd, Donald Lloyd and Michael Lloyd, all of Meridian; three sisters; Louise Sterdivant of St. Louis, MO, Bessie Mae Shadwick, and Brenda (Willie) Goodwin, both of Meridian; stepdaughter Chakela (Elias) Anderson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
