Mrs. Willie Bernice McElroy's Obituary
Willie Bernice McElroy was born in Toomsuba, MS. on January 7, 1956, to the late Willie Lee Hendrix and Dorothy Mae Hendrix. She was the second child of five children. She was transitioned from the earthly life to her heavenly home on Monday, July 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by both parents, her grandchild, De'Angelo McElroy, her brothers, Ronnie,Johnny, and Frank Hendrix and one sister, Ida Lee Anthony (Charles). She was an active member of East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful worker for 35 years at Morgan Nursery Plant Farm. Bernice will he remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She was affectionately called, "Aunt Bun". Bernice leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Tammy Hendrix (Wayne) and Latasha McElroy (David); two sons, Jimmy McElroy (Belinda) and Jacoby Hendrix; seven granddaughters, Chenna Ruf.in, Alexis Hendrix (Zerian), Tashika Davis (Joycelyn), Aridavidya Turner, Derionna McElroy, Davionna and Ivionna Turner, two grandsons, Duron Webster and Derion McElroy. four great-grandchildren Camille Ruffin, Marley McClendon, Caitlin andferen Jr. Appleton and a host of sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
