Mr. Willie James Moore's Obituary
In Meridian, MS on July 23, 1956, Willie James (Ricky) Moore was born to Lillie Mae Taylor and James Rothell Moore, Sr.
Shortly after graduating from Meridian High School in 1974, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served over 17 years and was Honorably Discharged on December 4, 1992. A few years later while continuing his service in the military, he married Meritha Ann Britt, who preceded him in death on August 25, 1987.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: two sons: Jeremy Isasiah Moore of Birmingham, AL; and Jeremiah Issac Moore of Meridian, MS; one stepdaughter, Rapunzel Buchanan of West Palm Beach, FL; four sisters: Rosie Moore Berry of Meridian, MS; Rosita Johnson of Detroit, MI; LaShima Moore of Heidelberg, MS; Debbie Warren of Meridian, MS; four brothers: Leon Prather of Meridian, MS; Michael Moore of Los Angeles, CA; Rothell Moore of Las Vegas, NV; and Wesley Rico Moore of Heidelberg, MS; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
