Mrs. Willie L. Scott's Obituary
Mrs. Willie Lee Chelise Scott, first born, September 1, 1931 to the late William Morn Chelsie and Annie Lee McWilliams. She attended Wechsler School. She accepted Chirst at a young age at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. There she served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher, member of the Usher Ministry, Missionary Ministry, and the Adult Choir. Mrs. Willie Lee Scott served her Lord and Church faithfully.In 1946 she united in holy matrimony to the late Leotha Scott, Sr. and to this union seven children were born. One daughter preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories, sons: Leotha Scott Jr. of Meridian, MS; Charles Scott (Glenda) of Meridian, MS; Ian Scott of Jackson, MS; Will Scott Sr. (Linda) of Meridian, MS; Mark Scott (Sandra); Lucindy Scott-Wilson of Meridian, MS; sisters: Juanita Darden of Bailey, MS; Grady Marie Jennings of Meridian, MS; brother: Grady McWilliams Jr. (Josephine) of Bailey, MS. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends and loved ones whose love for our family will continue!
