Willie James Sturdivant, Jr. better known as "Lil Willie" was born on December 17, 1978 in Meridian, MS to Willie James Sturdivant, Sr. and Bessie M Sturdivant. He was the first born of two children. Willie was a loving man that showed great love to his family. He was hard working, kind hearted and not a stranger to anyone. Willie was employed by Russco Construction Concrete & Pool Company in Meridian, MS for 22 years. Willie James Sturdivant, Jr. departed this life on July 9, 2019 in Toomsuba, Mississippi. He leaves to cherish his memories to loving parents: Willie James Sturdivant, Sr. and Bessie Sturdivant of Lauderdale, MS; two daughters, Jessica Sturdivant of Guljport, MS and Ajah Sturdivant of Lauderdale, MS; one sister, Teshicia (Bobby) Mason of Russell, MS; paternal grandparents, Junior and Abell Sturdivant of Lauderdale, MS; one aunt, Bettye Grace; one uncle, Julius Sturdivant both of Lauderdale, MS; three great aunts, Willie B Grace and Addie R Grace both of Lauderdale, MS and Jennie Smith of Toomsuba, MS; one niece, Anniyah Phillips; one nephew, ShunDarius Phillips both of Lauderdale, MS; three special cousins, Shadrick (Talonda) Grace, Ticetta Grace both of Lauderdale, MS and Tammi Silliman of Meridian, MS; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
