Mr. Willie Cleveland Trussell's Obituary
Willie Cleveland Trussell was born on October 31, 1930 in Lauderdale County, Mississippi to the late Eddie Excell and Iona McDonald Trussell .. Willie Cleveland Trussell accepted Christ at an early age and joined Friendship Baptist Church in Collinsville, MS. He was married for over 25 years to Hazel Trussell and to this union they were blessed with three wonderful children. He loved working as a sanitation Supervisor for Lauderdale County and retired at the age of 75 years old. On Friday, August 7, 2015 at James P. Champion Facility in Meridian, MS, Cleveland answered his Father's call. He leaves to cherish loving memories: two precious daughters, Margaret (Will) Brown of Collinsville, MS, and Vicky (Curtis) Harris of Birmingham, AL, one loving son, Cleveland Cheyenne (Bobbie) Trussell of Hattiesburg, MS, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren, a loving & devoted friend, Ida J McFarland and her daughter Stephanie Warren both of Collinsville, MS, one sister, Quincy Twilley of Bailey, MS, two brothers, Curt (Gertrude) Trussell and Wendell (Ann) Trussell both of Collinsville, MS, a sister-n-law, Mary (the late Clarence) Trussell of Mobile, AL, two step brothers and one step sister. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved and will miss him dearly.
