Mr. Willie Albert Tucker's Obituary
Willie Albert "Tuck" Tucker was born on September 26, 1939 in Meridian, MS to the late Willie "Bud" Tucker and Lenora Tucker. Willie's earthly demise was on March 10, 2015 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. Willie joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Bailey, MS at an early age; where he served as a deacon until the church was relocated and renamed. Willie was married to Nancy Mae Blanks on April 7, 1968. He graduated from T.J. Harris High School. He was employed for 25 years at Swartz Yager Ford as a car painter, where he was well known "as being the best car painter in town”: He was also employed at Peavey's Electronics for 22 years before his retirement. Willie was known for his many jokes, fishing stories, and his famous sayings that only he could tell. Willie was preceded in death by his father Willie "Bud" Tucker, mother Lenora Tucker, three brothers Jimmy Lee Burge, John E. Burge, and Manuel Moore, and one sister Sarah Lee Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories his precious and devoted wife of 46 years Mr. Nancy Mae Tucker, one son Willie Earl (Elizabeth) Moffite; one daughter LeKeisha Tucker, eleven grandchildren: Derrick, Quinn, Willie Earl Jr., Carmen, and Andrea Moffite, Arieyana, Ravashawn, George, Azariah, and Jayden Dixon; two sisters Christell (Rev. Lawrence) Hill, Luecendia (Rev. Albert) Crowther, one honorary brother Benny "Peter" Moore, all of Meridian, MS, three sister-in-laws Evangelist Annie Grace of Meridian, MS, Patricia Moore of St. Louis, MO, and Mary Amerson of Flint, MI as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
