Ms. Yolanda K. Ferrill's Obituary
Yolanda Katrice Ferrill peacefully transitioned into eternal rest in paradise with the Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 18, 2021. A native of Meridian, MS, she was born on February 15, 1977 to the parentage of Sandy Ferrill Sr., and Dorothy Ferrill. At an early age, she joined New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Savoy, MS. Yolanda had a special kind of love for everyone. She presented everyone with a smile. Her magnetic smile and warm spirit drew anyone to her. Yolanda worked in management for over 15 years, ten of which was at Pilot Subway. In 2017, she relocated to Atlanta, GA where she began employment with Sam-Mart as a Subway Restaurant Manager as well as part -time employment with Honey Baked Ham where she worked until her untimely death. A wonderful mother of three, she will forever be remembered and loved by her children: Kendarrius Ferrill, Ky 'Zerion Ferrill and Sa'Naiya Ferrill; her mother: Dorothy Ferrill; her father: Sandy Ferrill; two sisters: Teresa Ferrill and Patricia Taylor (Pete); two brothers: Sandy Ferrill, Jr. (Tashieka) and Santonio Ferrell (Andray Fox, Jr.); special aunt: Corene Rue; special niece Marquita Ferrell, nieces: Jessica, Diamond, Destiny, Zaire, Ayanna and Semaj'a; nephews: Xavier, La'Ricos, Eddie Jr., (Mary), Da'Jon, Santravious, Jamarion, Tre'Shawn, Sandy, III and Braxton; great-nephews: Quantavion, Mekhi, Colton, Ja'Quavious, Sincere and Jaiden; great nieces: Eyari, Serenity and Royalty; special friend: Marvin Turner; special cousins: Patricia Evans, Breesha Evans and Constance Manuel; close friends: Donna Brown, Lisa Chaney, Anika McCoy, Lisa Mosley Brown and Kisha Cannady; god-brothers: Rico Thomas, Lemel Singletary, Phillip Andrews, and Pulaski John; god-sisters: Shannon Brown, Mekio Gabriel, Yasmine Frye, and Lexis Mason; godchildren: Marcela Evins, Kameron Evins, Kaleb Evins, Machai Evins, Gilecia Brown, Beniquez Brown and Jaquarrius Brown. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Emma and T. C. Grace, and paternal grandparents, Vera and Frank Ferrill.
