Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Florence Ramsey, will be held Monday, September 11, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1914 18th Avenue, Meridian, MS at 11:00 a.m. Visitation with her family will be at the OP Chapel of Berry and Read Obituary
Mrs Ramsey was my other mother and teacher throughout my life and she always treated me like one of her own. She was always there when I had any questions , needed guidance or just needed to vent. She will be missed and prayers to her family. Greg Williams

When I started my career as a teacher, Mrs. Ramsey was the first person to welcome me to Carver Middle School. She became my mentor and friend. Her classroom was next door to mine and she made sure that I had everything that I needed . I would sometimes go into her classroom and observe this master teacher working with her students to see a perfect example of how to meet the needs of my students. The lessons learned from her extended beyond the walls of Carver Middle School into my personal life. She was my role model in many areas of my life. I will be forever thankful and grateful to this wonderful lady for the lessons learned that helped me for over thirty five years as a teacher and as a school administrator. My sincere condolences to her family ! God has added a beautiful flower to His garden in heaven.
