To my Hero. Joe words can not express how I feel. I am so devastated and hurt. I will never forget the bond that we had when I was growing up. You always made sure that I had whatever I needed and I would always thank you for that when ever we would talk. I am so glad that I always kept in touch with you even when you moved back to Mississippi. I would make sure I would call you every month just to say hi. I knew something was wrong when I would call and did not get an answer for a month finally after family members said you was in a nursing home I did not stop until I got that number. The last time we spoke I told you that Freddie and I was gonna come and get you and you agreed to come back to Spfld. For a while which made me happy. Joe you don't know how much of a impact you had on my life you actually made me feel like I was worthy and I thank you for that. I miss you so much until next time I love you...your daughter Debbie😘
Miss you Joe.

To my inspiration. I can't believe that you are gone. I will miss our monthly talks I am so glad that I told you you how much you meant to me when I was growing up. I would always sneak and meet you at the bottom of the hill when you and mom would break up Just to give you something that you left behind. I am gonna miss you so much Joe and I will always love you your daughter Debbie Dickerson
