There is a huge hole in my life now. You were my best friend, the father of our children, and for an extended time the man I wanted to spend forever with. While things did not work out for us romantically we never lost our friendship, and I know that you loved me unconditionally. We had a way of communicating that often times did not even require words. You knew me and I knew you. If ever I had a need you had a solution. Whenever there was a task to be completed you knew I would get it done just the way you wanted. What we shared was rare. Our children are struggling to accept and understand but I will be here to help and to remind them that regardless of anything and everything you loved them more than everything. If ever given the chance I will make sure to tell the other 2 the same thing. Rest easy now. I got this.
