To Marilyn’s family and friends, I am a former co-worker from UT Southwestern Medical Center. For a short period of time she and I shared an office space. Her delightful personality made sharing a room a very happy and pleasant experience. I remembered that she would leave work at the end of the day to be with her mom at the nursing home. She happily visited to take of her mom until she passed away. Marilyn’s warm smile welcomed everyone. Her peers that worked with her loved her. Lastly, when it was decided that she would return home to Mississippi, a small group of us celebrated her with a send off dinner to let her know how we cherished her and that she would be missed.
Rest In Peace Marilyn my friend. I know the spirit of your mom will welcome you home. You truly deserve your wings. Love, Catherine
