I met Ruby at the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education, USA quite some years ago In the Drama Department of the Children Division. We talked ,found out that we both from Meridian , enjoyed storytelling, drama at church and catching up on some of the people that we both knew. Calling each other "Homegirl". I was at home one year and she the guest speaker at my home church. I really enjoyed sharing African American stories for children with her. I haven't seen her in several years but I do inquire about her whenever I visited. Miss you,miss sharing African American stories with you, hope you are sharing your storytelling in Heaven with our children. Rest on "Homegirl "
