My oldest friend, and the second -smartest man I've ever known. He is missed every day.
I’m so sorry to hear of Ward’s passing. I first met him in 1987. We were stationed together at NASMER. He was a super-sharp ET. I returned to NASMER 5 years later and he was working for the FAA and living right outside the gate. Our friendship really grew when he hurt his knee. We’d hang out, I’d drive him places. He had an international orange Dodge Dart that he would leave the keys in. I’d borrow it often. With the advent of Facebook, I was able to find him and reconnect. I’m a Field Service Engineer in NY now, so we were able to meet up again in Meridian around 2015; And it was just like no time had passed. We just picked up where we left off. I will miss you old friend. You were a great teacher, tech and friend. God Bless and God Speed.
